Petts Woodstock 2019 supported the following charities:

The Maypole Project provides a lifeline of support for children with complex medical needs and their whole family. We support over 190 children with life threatening, life limiting illnesses and their families every year across South East London.

Second Chance Animal Rescue was founded in 2011 and is based in Crockenhill, Kent

We aim to rescue and rehome, where appropriate, ill-treated or abandoned animals, to rescue, treat and return to the natural environment sick and abandoned wildlife and to educate the public on care of animals.

Second Chance Animal Rescue is entirely run on the generosity of volunteers and our loyal supporters – we receive no state funding.

Our vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to appropriate care and support, when they need it, wherever they need it and whoever they are.

The Petts Wood Playgroup for Children with Special Needs started on the 28th September 1968 by a group from the Petts Wood United Reformed Church and the Methodist Church.

The fashions and our minibus have both changed rather a lot since then but we are still staffed by a team of highly motivated volunteers and we still place the needs and welfare of the children above all else.

The group provides pre-school education for children with special needs from birth to five years.

The special needs include physical disabilities, developmental delay, behavioural and social problems that can cause difficulties for children and parents alike.

The Memorial Hall in Petts Wood, Orpington, Bromley, is an active community centre, set in tranquil gardens in the heart of Petts Wood and is the venue for numerous community events, private functions and regular activities. The facilities are enjoyed by many local residents and most weeks see over a thousand people making use of this wonderful local resource.

The Memorial Hall is also the venue for our fantastic event.
